Here's the problem: You want to work in Australia but...

  • You are not familiar with the Australian Job Search Process and what to expect

  • Finding a professional job feels daunting, especially if English is not your first language, or if you never worked in Australia before

  • You are highly skilled and qualified with many years of experience, but are not sure how to showcase your achievements, or think that your international experience is not valid

  • You think that writing your Resume is hard because you 'don't have enough relevant experience or skills'

  • You are not sure how to network to find job opportunities (and perhaps contacting strangers makes you feel uncomfortable)

  • You keep applying for jobs, but are not getting any calls back and wonder 'what am I doing wrong?'

  • Perhaps your Resume is good, but you get rejected after every job interview

  • You find job interviews intimidating or interview questions tricky to answer

  • You moved to Australia but are now working in a low skill level job that you don't like or that doesn't pay well, while in the meantime you keep eating up your savings or your visa is running out

How much is this costing you?

Moving to a new country takes a lot of time, money, and effort. And if you can't find a job in your field, it can be expensive and cause a lot of emotional stress in the long run.

Unfortunately, this is the reality for many people moving to Australia - because the challenges are real: not feeling comfortable with the language, lack of confidence, not knowing how to prepare a proper Australian job application, lack of local networks, or struggling to perform in job interviews. This means that if you can't find a job in your field you may end up going back home, or working in low skill level jobs that you don't like. I've worked in the Australian migration, HR, and skills assessment sectors for many years and have personally seen how these barriers can impact migrants' ability to get employment. And this is why this course exists: to help people like you, who are moving to Australia or already here, overcome each of these obstacles and be fully prepared to enter the Australian workforce.

Did you know that in Australia you don’t include personal information on your Resume such as your photo, nationality or date of birth? This is a tiny simple mistake that I see many migrants make (amongst others)!

Or did you know that recruiters take on average 7 seconds to look at your Resume? Or that more than 50% of Australian employers expect candidates to show evidence of quantifiable achievements?

Imagine having all the tools and knowledge to avoid the pain of not hearing back from employers, wasting your time preparing job applications that don't land interviews, or facing repeated rejection after every job interview.

Meet Your Instructor

Hi! I'm Martina!

I help people migrating to Australia write their perfect job application and get fully prepared for job interviews, so they can maximise their chances of landing a professional job. I migrated to Australia over eight years ago, upon receiving a scholarship to complete my Bachelor degree in Psychological Science at Deakin University. I also hold a Master Degree from the University of Melbourne. All the tools, tips, and strategies I share with you in this training, draw on my more than six years of experience working in the Australian migration, skills assessments, and human resources sectors (from recruitment to organisational development), as well as in job-ready capacity-building programs with not-for-profits. I have interviewed and assessed the skills, work experience, and international qualifications of thousands of migrants to Australia (across more than 300 professional occupations), and helped people from all migrant backgrounds to get job-ready for the Australian workforce. I'm passionate about using my professional background, lived experience, and skills in content creation to empower people new to Australia feel confident in their ability to land a job that fully utilises their skills and capabilities. My YT video tutorials on working in Australia have over 200,000 views and continue to receive incredible feedback from viewers. Credentials aside, I'm an avid rock climber and gardener, so in my spare time, you'll find me climbing walls at national parks or climbing gyms, and growing all kinds of veggies in my backyard!

The tools you'll learn in this training have helped others to not only land jobs but also to get Australian sponsorship and PR. Here's one of the success stories I'm most proud of (because he recently got granted Aussie citizenship!)

Paul F.

Moved to Australia on a W&H visa looking for a marketing role. We worked on improving his Resume & Cover Letter in a way that showcased his professional experience and qualifications the right way. This helped him land the job he wanted at a real estate company, and later on obtain a permanent visa. Today he works as Partnerships Manager at a leading Australian e-commerce company in Sydney.

'I am writing to thank you for the review you did on my resume and cover letter. I didn't know how wrong I got certain things until you corrected them, even though I had checked these multiple times before. I have no doubt that your attention to detail, multiple corrections, the keywords you suggested, and your industry knowledge of how recruiters and companies look for talent were key points of difference in my success. After a couple of interviews in the last weeks and three offers, I accepted an offer for a Marketing Coordinator role at a real estate company, I am so happy because this role will help me later on my migration journey. Also, I wanted to thank you for your patience and multiple revisions throughout the process. Wish you all the best!'
